We had a good feeling that Emma would give us exactly what we wanted from a wedding photographer. We wanted her to capture the real life candid moments throughout our day. Her photos are chic, cool and natural. For those of you who are not a fan of the staged, run of the mill wedding photos-Emma is for you. Emma was our photographer for our intimate wedding in Kerry. She was fantastic! Very comfortable to shoot with and had a great attitude - which was so important for making us at ease in front of the camera. Communication was easy - we had a video chat where my husband and I felt comfortable with her from the start. The price was reasonable and transparent. The photos were excellent and having the option of some analogue photos was a nice touch. Emma was absolutely amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. We aren't very 'posey' people and we let Emma know this. Which was no problem at all, she took so many relaxed shots and knew how to make us feel comfortable and still get the memorable photos of our wedding day. She was also more than happy to have our dog be involved in the photos in the park, which was amazing. Perfect mix of fun, relaxed photos and the classic family portraits, ceremony pictures. We are so thrilled we booked Emma for our December wedding in Cork. It was the shortest day of the year but (unlike other photographers we spoke to) this was a non issue for Emma. She did an unbelievable job working efficiently but also with a fun and relaxed energy that put everyone at ease. We availed of Emma’s photography services for our recent wedding in October and to say we’re beyond delighted with the results is an understatement. From the initial consultation Emma was professional, friendly and engaging. During our pre-wedding shoot she really took time to put us at ease and get to know us.

We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding for a month due to Covid, and again Emma was very empathetic and professional. We were able to rearrange the date with zero fuss.

The day of the wedding Emma blended in so well and got some gorgeous relaxed shots as well as taking lots of family pictures for us. We also went into Dublin City for bride and groom pictures and Emma had picked some excellent places for photos. I would definitely recommend Emma as a wedding photographer. Our wedding photos Emma took for us are absolutely stunning!! We love them all. We didn't realise Emma was making a video for us too. This was such a beautiful surprise and it is such a gorgeous video. It actually made me cry and a few others when they watched it too! Looking back at all the photos brought us right back to the day and all the feelings and emotions. We are very grateful that you were able to capture all that for us. We loved working with Emma and she captured our day perfectly!! Firstly, Emma’s website so very inclusive and doesn’t follow the same cookie-cutter structure of “bride and groom” that a lot of competitors follow. Secondly, her photography style was exactly what we wanted for the photos as they felt relaxed and not overly staged. When we finally met Emma, we understood why; Emma put us at ease and really listened to us. Also, we didn’t want engagement photos but Emma offered it as part of the package and we highly recommend it as a test run for the big day. On the wedding day, Emma again brought an ease to the day and was a total pro dealing with the larger family photos (including small kids). We highly recommend working with Emma; you won’t be disappointed!

Emma offered us a pre-wedding photoshoot, which was awesome as she captured some great photos of us relaxed in our home, which we could use in our invitations. More importantly, this calmed our nerves about getting photographed on the big day. Emma gave us some tips around posture that made a big difference!

On the day, Emma facilitated a first look in Phoenix Park and picked the perfect location. She didn't order us around, instead allowing us to simply have a nice time, which has resulted in some great candid moments. When the time did come to have some posed photos (e.g. Family etc) Emma was prompt and professional. During the ceremony, Emma was present but not obtrusive.

Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend!
