Hi, I’m Emma. I'm a backstage wedding photographer, always watching for candid, authentic moments. Rather than capturing what I should be documenting as a wedding photographer, I look for what intrigues me: emotional displays, juxtapositions, unique details and anything that has your personalities written all over it. My approach is humble, exploratory, unobtrusive, and, above all, documentary. Rather than directing your day, I move around, find different angles, and add my own creative touch to the moments. I work primarily on analogue film, both small- and medium-format, creating imagery that feels exciting and uniquely yours, and will age well.

Couples who hire me rarely plan a cookie-cutter wedding, and they want their wedding photos to reflect who they are and their personal style and taste. The couples who hire me are often creative expats, multicultural couples, or urban couples in Stockholm, looking to create a wedding that feels uniquely theirs, from chic restaurant takeovers in Stockholm to weekend-long celebrations at estates.
